Church Services

  • Building and Grounds Committee: Maintains the church properties which include the church building, parsonage and two homes. Contact: Deacons
  • Christian Education Committee: Oversees all educational ministries of the church. Contact:Pastor Howard
  • Library: Books and videos available. Contact: Karen Stull
  • Meals: A pool of people who prepare meals for church families during hospital stays and other times of need. Contact: Linda Hanes
  • Missions Committee: Plans and implements ways to encourage and support missions in the U.S. and around the world. Contact: Pastor Howard
  • Prayer Chain: Special church prayer needs are recorded and circulated by email. Contact: Pastor Howard
  • Small Groups: Groups of 8 - 14 people meeting in homes on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening of each month to study the Word together Contact: Pastor Howard
  • Tracts: A variety of literature is available on racks by entrance doors to aid you in the sharing the Gospel with others. Contact: Bethany Office
  • Ushers: Provide hospitality and help for those who attend services. Contact: Wayne Waters
  • Wednesday Family Night: Various programs are held for people of all ages. Prayer meeting for adults, Pioneer Girls and Boys Brigade and a youth group for 7-12 graders. Call the church to find out what programs are currently running. Contact: Bethany Office
  • Worship Team: Instrumentalists lead in congregational worship. Contact: Pastor Howard

Community  Resources

  • Paradise Manor: Monthly worship services at the Hatfield assisted living home. Contact: Dave Bossard
  • Outreach Committee: Plans and implements ways to encourage people in our community to think about their spiritual lives. Contact: Pastor Lou
  • Sola Gratia Musicians: Home school choir directed by Karen Burgman meets at Bethany on Wednesday mornings. Contact: Janice Firth
  • Red Cross Blood Drive: Twice a year (July and December) Bethany hosts a Red Cross Blood Drive. Contact: Sophia Cleary

Sports

  • Bethany Softball: Spring and summer league for men and women 16 years and older. Contact: Joe Saleski
  • Push The Rock: Sports camps for boys and girls that teach basketball, volleyball, and soccer skills. Contact: Pastor Lou
  • Upwards Basketball: Basketball league during the fall and winter. Contact: Pastor Lou
  • Volleyball Fellowship: Young adults meet on 1st Thursday evening of each month to play volleyball. Contact: Jeff Schoonover

Men's

  • Men: Sunday class meets for prayer, encouragement and accountability. Various activities are planned throughout the year, such as Sportsmen's Banquet, fishing trip etc. Contact: Mike Hanes

Women's

  • Women's Ministry: Various committees formed to support women at Bethany Church. Contact: Meta Wells and Patty Curcio

Youth

  • Youth Ministry: Youth group(Jr. and Sr. High) meets wednesday evenings for fun games and bible study, friday or saturday monthly for sporting events, scavenger hunts, fun trips and special yearly activities include mission trips, weekend retreats, teen week etc.. Contact: Pastor Lou Curcio

Kids

  • Pioneer Girls: Pioneer Girls(k-6th Grade) meet wednesday evenings for life based Bible studies with age-appropriate practical applications fun trips plus games, earning badges, singing and fun-filled special events. Contact: Cheryl Heck
  • Boys Club: Boys(3rd-6th Grade) meet wednesday evenings exploring God's word together in an atmosphere of relaxing, fun-interactive learning. Meetings include Bible stories, scripture memorization, craft or service projects, games, songs, field trips etc.. Contact: Nate Wells
  • Nursery: Cares for infants and toddlers for church services. Contact: Carol Harwick
  • Children'sChurch: Lessons for children in grades 1 - 4 held during morning services. Contact: Virginia Schoonover
